Persona Development

Videology’s advertising platform is used by a wide variety of users all over the globe and I pioneered the persona development process. The creation of personas enabled the user to become an essential part of the product development process.

To establish the personas, I analyzed transcripts from user interviews. Through these interviews I was able to discover patterns and commonalities between users. I then created a user data file, which contained all information gathered for persona creation. This file helped ensure all our personas were based on real user information that was accurate and up to date. Finally, I transformed that data into persona cards which enabled the product, engineering, and business departments to quickly digest and understand the target users. This helped create a user focused platform and established a common understanding between groups.
